Absolutely delicious

Any one hungry for some little baby fingers and little baby toes?

I friend of mine was nice enough to let me steal her baby. And would you believe that this little chubba-chub is less than 4 weeks old?! She is such a little sweetheart and check out all that hair. That is more hair than all my 3 babies had put together.

Again, some more indoor shoots. Still a little frustrated by how they turned out. I had to turn my ISO up pretty high in order to get some decent shots. It was good practice for me...I didn't think shooting newborns could be so challenging.

wow! These are sooo good! What a chubby baby, I cannot believe she is only a month old! I think they turned out really great, I don't know why you are frustrated with them.

thanks for the vote of confidence. But seriously, I'm not kidding when I say that after today I was going to take a LONG break from taking pictures.

I just can't get my pictures to look crisp and clear and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Do you think perhaps It's the lens? (actually, for my ego's sake let's just blame it on the lens even if it's not) I think I'm going to get the 50mm f1/4 lens. I'm not sure if that will make a huge difference....we'll see

Ginnie, Don't be so hard on yourself! These are great, and I think they are pretty crisp and clear!? Seriously you did a great, great job.

What kind of camera do you have again? And what lens did you shoot with? You'd be just fine with the 50mm 1.8 lens. It does great close up- tack sharp. But far away it's not that sharp.

Thanks wendy. They just turned out a little different then I had them pictured in my mind...does that make sense? Today I'm feeliing much better about them.(how odd am I)
I have the canon rebel xt with just the kit lens 18-55 mm. I thinking about buying the 50 1.4 off of some lady but if I don't get it from her I will end up getting the 50 1.8 lens.

Hi, It's aubrey again! I just saw that you are from Philly - you wouldn't happen to know a Charity Hill would you? Sometimes the church makes the world a small place! She's a friend from HS that goes to Medical School In Philly! thought I'd ask!:)

hhmmmm, I don't recall that name. But I'm sure we're in the same stake. Does she go to Temple Med.? My husband is at Temple also but for Dental, 9 more months left for us though (yay!).

Did you get a light kit? I'm really impressed with your lighting and I know I couldn't get it with what I have at my disposal!

What beautiful pictures of a beautiful baby! Is that Chelsea's? Adorable!!

em- no light kit. That is just all natural lighting. I did use some home made reflectors to get a little bit more light, but even then it didn't help out much. Most of them I had to go to photoshop and lighten them up a bit.

ang- Yes it is. Isn't she such a sweet heart?!
