To answer your question, I love my 50mm 1.8. I shoot baby sessions with it and it's great outdoors too. I also borrow my father in-law's lenses from time to time but my 50mm is my best friend. Cheap too, like 90 bucks cheap.
I was guessing that was the lens you use. The 50mm 1.8 is actually on my wish list. I just might have to get it sooner than later.
